Easy Microwave Fudge

Makin' a List...

As with all candy-making, have pans prepared and all ingredients measured and ready to add before you begin.

¾ cup sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate morsels
2 T butter (not margarine)
½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1 tsp vanilla

Butter a 9-inch square pan. Measure chocolate chips, vanilla, and nuts into one bowl. In a separate, medium microwavable bowl, microwave condensed milk and butter about one minute, stir until butter is completely melted. All at one time, add chocolate chips, vanilla and nuts into condensed milk — wait 30 seconds, then stir until the chocolate chips are melted. Quickly turn mixture into prepared pan and refridgerate. Cool four hours before cutting fudge.
