Madrigal Dinner Update

Christmas is my favorite time of year and of course, Texas is my favorite place to spend the holiday. I created this site to share the joy of Christmas in Texas with families like yours. Along with a list of family activities and events throughout the state, I've included Christmas stories, holiday recipes, Christmas songs, crafts and a collection of articles to help you make the most of your time and money in your holiday planning. From time to time I also feature articles on Texas craftsmen, family traditions, and Texas celebrations, businesses that are unique to Texas.

You'll want to so you don't miss the daily blog updates below to stay informed of holiday related news and events in Texas. I also continually update the Christmas stories, recipes, songs, crafts, holiday hints and articles--so check back often.

And whatever else you do, appreciate one another and have a happy and safe holiday with your family.

Madrigal Dinner Update
The weatherman promised and it was delivered.  Ah…a nice, crisp cold front!  It's about time!  I have so much energy when it's cold!

I wanted to update folks on the Madrigal Dinner at University of Texas at Austin.  The show will be performed November 17-20. Tickets go on sale October 18th and as I've said before, they sell out FAST.  So don't wait to make your reservation.  You can purchase tickets at the Frank Irwin Center in Austin, or online at Texas Box Office .
